Lady Gaga has her sights set on motherhood within the next year.

The singer has been dating Taylor Kinney, from Vampire Diaries, since September last year. The Little Monster/Vampire combo are already thinking about having a baby.

Taylor took her home to meet his family recently, and according to his aunt, everyone loved and appreciated how "down-to-earth" the woman behind the show known as Lady Gaga is.

"There's no doubt he loves her and she loves him. Now everyone's met her, we love her too! They are perfect together," said Taylor's aunt, Kathryn Loh.

"I'm so glad we got to meet the woman behind all the make-up and the outfits. She's very well-spoken and down-to-earth. She's basic - a sweet, normal, healthy person."
