Power FM Murray Bridge continues the “leaders in local” philosophy and is excited to announce Power FM’s newest on air talent.
Molly Rose is an actor-turned Children’s Entertainer, who slipped and fell into her radio career almost by accident. After spending a year on Grant Broadcasters’ Magic FM Breakfast Show in Port Augusta, Molly has returned home to co-host Power FM’s new Breakfast show with Damon Adams.
Molly is quirky, bubbly and relatable. As a self-proclaimed ‘over sharer’, she is the type of broadcaster you feel like you know without ever having met her. What you see is what you get.
“This job is definitely better than dressing up as a carrot and singing songs to kids, I’ll tell you that much,” Molly said.
“On a serious note, I cannot wait to wake up and share Breakfast with the people of the Adelaide Hills, South Coast and Murraylands each morning!”
Damon has been in the primetime spot since August 2017, co-hosting The Power Pack with Kristel Dally.
The presenter, producer and promotional manager has been going from strength-to-strength over that time, having recently graduated from AFTRS’ ‘Radio Content, Leadership and Management’ course and working with Port Adelaide Football Club as their Roving Reporter in 2020.
Damon said he is stoked to continue his journey at Power FM while sharing the mic with Molly.
“Molly is a special talent that we're over the moon to have join the team. You instantly get the sense that she’s a ‘radio person’ and together we're both incredibly driven to build the best breakfast show for our listeners. We're very excited about what’s to come. The hustle has begun,” Damon exclaimed.
Power FM Breakfast with Damon and Molly launches on Monday 1 February.
